Welcome St. Xavier Alumnae Association Members to Your Web Site!
The time is now for looking forward to exciting challenges as the Alumnae Association contemplates continual improvement. With nearly 4000 alumnae on the database, there is enormous potential for keeping the major goal of the association alive not only for the near future, but also perhaps for twenty or more years ahead!
Thanks to the support of loyalty donations, dedicated dues-paying members, and even substantial donations from family members of our beloved deceased, we were able to accomplish our goal at Homecoming 2009. Three scholarships in the amount of $1000 were awarded by lottery on Homecoming Sunday to students whose names were submitted by dues-paying alumnae of St. Xavier Academy. Their families want you to know how grateful they are for this much-needed assistance, not only as a contribution to the high cost of tuition, but also as a support for Catholic education of young women and men in general.
St. Xavier’s began with the vision of Sister Mary Xavier Warde, RSM, encompassing comprehensive academics, including knowledge of religious truths by stories and examples. Keeping that vision alive is a goal of the St. Xavier Alumnae Association. That is accomplished by helping those in need through the annual scholarship
lottery.
Please take a look at our web site. Enjoy the pictures and descriptions of our recent Homecoming Sunday, 2009. And please, do not forget 2010 Homecoming! We very much want to see you in 2010. If you cannot attend the next time, please keep St. Xavier’s alive by remembering loyalty and annual membership dues. Keeping up to date with annual dues assures that you receive all future notices from the St. Xavier Alumnae Association.
Thank you for your generous support. Check in often for updates.
SAVE THE DATE FOR THE NEXT HOMECOMING – OCTOBER 24, 2010 WHEN WE WILL HELP CELEBRATE THE 50TH REUNION FOR THE CLASS OF 1960 AND ALL CLASSES ENDING IN ZERO AND FIVE.
Please see our church program in the gallery which acknowledges all the wonderful ladies who helped make 2009 Homecoming a great success. A sincere thank you to each and every one of them.
